I like how those sharp piles draw the viewer into the picture. So perspective has succeeded well!
I personally would've done something to the foreground too (some grasses or rocks etc.) but since this is a warmup piece it's fine as it is now.
Shading and atmosphere work here very well! :)

Thank you. Yes, if it was a detailed piece I would have definitely added something in foreground.

Wonderful art work! The thumbnail was eyecatching already but the full image looks even better. I'm sure it conveys the feeling of the album well. :)

Thank you so much <3

I like the colors and the cartoony look. :)

Thanks!

I agree! I loved the series.
I like the pose and colors you've used here.

This drawing gives me a very warm feeling and makes me smile.
I like the depth of view and both animals' expressions.

JJColours responds:

I really appreciate the comment! I'm so happy it made you happy! That is really cool. I'm glad that I pulled the depth off, this one was definitely more challenging than the other two I've done recently of the same ilk.

Hahah, this is great! I have nothing to add. :D

Djoresh responds:

Thanks!

Holy moly, the amount of details!! That's very impressive! :)

Thanks for the feedback its very much aprechiated

That's really dark and scary and well done drawing! Shading looks great and makes even the character in the shadows pop out. The house is my favorite part thought!

gugo78 responds:

thank you

In general I think this painting is really cool and that it has lots of good in it. The first impression was very nice but once I looked it more closely her upper body started to bother me.
The angle is a bit challenging, I give you that. Her lower body and the background is fine. I like especially the float of her dress! But both her arms and where her neck is placed would need a double check.
But as I said this gives a cool vibe and you definitely are on the right path with it! Congrats for the feature! :)

wraith8r responds:

yea i chose a different pose, a more `challenging` one, cause others that i did are just too stiff...
thanks for criqitue and the kind words.

I get the nervousness part very well. I can see you've put lots of thought and effort in this. :)
I must say that I don't know these particular characters that well (it's been years since I read HP books and LotR I haven't even read) but your painting and description gives me a pretty nice idea of them. They seem interesting and I'm glad they've found each others like this!
Though the painting has dark color scheme it still has something very warm in it too. Shading is well done and that golden glow brings the magic in the picture.
Best of luck!

Sagoos responds:

Awh thank you!!! That makes me soo happy ^^ Great critique <3 I really suggest atleast watching the LotR movies, they are very long and time consuming, but REALLY frigging good C:
