That's a beautiful and very delicate piece. :)

That's really dark and scary and well done drawing! Shading looks great and makes even the character in the shadows pop out. The house is my favorite part thought!

gugo78 responds:

thank you

This piece has something intriguing in it though I first was a bit confused with it. Maybe it's the story you wrote that threw me into the scene!
There're some details that I would've fixed before inking, like size of Ron's head and how old Harry and Frodo look. Those are minor things next to all the good things though! I really like how you draw fabrics for example! There're loads of other details too which look really nice, like the chessboard, and also pretty nice color palette used. The veil could have more depth perhaps... So that it was clearer that it's another world there.
You're on the right path with it for sure! :)

All I need to see is a pirate ship and I'll like it. Good job!

You draw well! I really like this and the horse drawing.
Next you could try drawing it more 3D-ish if you want. When the black is as black and white as white everywhere it stays 2D. When you start using the gradient of the color it starts to create a form. It's all about shading basically. It's not something you should do but just a suggestion. :)

In general I think this painting is really cool and that it has lots of good in it. The first impression was very nice but once I looked it more closely her upper body started to bother me.
The angle is a bit challenging, I give you that. Her lower body and the background is fine. I like especially the float of her dress! But both her arms and where her neck is placed would need a double check.
But as I said this gives a cool vibe and you definitely are on the right path with it! Congrats for the feature! :)

wraith8r responds:

yea i chose a different pose, a more `challenging` one, cause others that i did are just too stiff...
thanks for criqitue and the kind words.

I get the nervousness part very well. I can see you've put lots of thought and effort in this. :)
I must say that I don't know these particular characters that well (it's been years since I read HP books and LotR I haven't even read) but your painting and description gives me a pretty nice idea of them. They seem interesting and I'm glad they've found each others like this!
Though the painting has dark color scheme it still has something very warm in it too. Shading is well done and that golden glow brings the magic in the picture.
Best of luck!

Sagoos responds:

Awh thank you!!! That makes me soo happy ^^ Great critique <3 I really suggest atleast watching the LotR movies, they are very long and time consuming, but REALLY frigging good C:

It is Hagrid, right? Ooh, he really loves dragons and all the other odd animals. He'd definitely want to steal Smaug from Lord of the Rings, hahah!
Nice job!!

Witchabroad responds:

yes, Hagrid is rushing towards Smaug and Bilbo is desperately trying to stop him. Thanks a lot! :) When I realised that I can draw, well try to draw, a dragon I was on board :D

Seeing Weasley brothers made me chuckle. Poor Gandalf!
You did good job with this. There's perspective, textures, humor and feeling into it.
Good luck to the challenge! :)

PantheraLeo responds:

Well, thak you very very much :D Self confidence - reloaded

The thumbnail of your drawing really got my eye. Blue color, wizard's hat and that bright ligt - wow!
Then I saw the rest of the picture and thought it's even more wonderful piece. Best of luck to the challenge! :)

GrzegorzJakubowski responds:

thank You :) it's not perfect, but I'm trying to develop new, more comic, style for my artwork. I'm really glad You like it
